Tracking: no cookies, GDPR compliant

We use responsible tracking tools. These help us understand how you find us, where you come from, what pages you visit, how long you stay for, and what actions you perform. This is always entirely anonymous and uses zero cookies. We learn which device and operating system you're using, which browser you're using, and your location based on an Internet Protocol (IP) address, but never anything personal about you.

Like many, we moved away from Google Analytics because of concerns about your privacy, and recently moved away from Matomo (formrly Piwik). In October 2019, we switched to an even simpler tracking system called Fathom, a service that prides itself on being fully GDPR and Cookie Directive compliant.

We do not require any form of login or user account for this website.

Secure storage

All of our registrants’ information is restricted on our machines and in our office. Only members of our team who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. No sponsors, speakers or supporters will have access to personal details, except for the names and email address we share with workshop leaders if they need to work with attendees in advance or after a workshop. Workshop attendees have the right to withdraw the sharing of information with workshop leaders and can do so by contacting us.

Sharing

Neither Simon, Geri, Obvious Things, nor New Adventures will, under any circumstances, share with any third party individual IP addresses, email addresses, personal contact details or other information collected through this website or related statistic tracking systems. If information sharing is required for the purposes of this or any other event, you will be given immediate notice.
